To maintain dominion over the surrounding environment: humankind’s intrinsic continuum. Densely concentrated at one point in space, an avalanche of anthropoids builds a society of such magnitude that a new form of existence emerges: hyper-urbanism. The planet’s crust lies buried beneath acolossal amalgam of chemically optimized cements. Odors of crude oil, combustion, and sewage permeate the air, slowly suffocating those who dwell within it. Endless horizons of sprawl and high rise, uniform in construction, affront an attempt at relief. Descending from a once thriving state, the swollen population enters a behavioral sink. Public space is destroyed, regulative efforts fail, class systems are debased to anarchy. The pedestrian, who was once thought to ascertain the highest degree of freedom and mobility, faces insurmountable obstacles, both living and static.
The sky holds opportunity. Emerging from the sink, brave urbanites reclaim their city at its zenith. They move freely in the airspace, calming their minds to find inner and outer balance—observing, acting, fighting, restoring equilibrium to a lost world.
